The Max Hartle Company was established in 1988 to ensure that financial institutions and other stakeholders had an unbiased third party partner in making lending decisions. Max built his company on a foundation of unyielding integrity and the work ethic of a farm boy accustomed to long hours and the joy of a job well done. To that, he added two decades of finance and chattel appraisal experience. The combination proved incredibly successful as the Max Hartle Company’s reputation blossomed and demand for its services grew.
Initially, the emphasis of the company was agriculture-related appraisals. Throughout the years, the company has expanded its expertise to all industries and types of equipment, including medical, construction, transportation, fabrication, and processing equipment. The Max Hartle Company has developed a reputation as the Water Rights Experts in the state of Utah, specializing in underground and surface rights throughout the Western United States.
When Max retired in 2008, his daughter and long-time employee, DonaMae and her husband Cody purchased the business to carry on the family legacy. With a degree in mathematics and astute attention to detail, DonaMae is uncompromising when it comes to quality. Today, DonaMae and Cody lead a diverse and experienced team of appraisers who strive to put Max’s values of integrity, work ethic, and attention to detail into each appraisal.
