On-Site Appraisal

The On-Site Appraisal allows the appraisers to physically inspect the equipment and document details that factor into the most accurate valuation of each item. Each On-Site Appraisal includes a physical site visit where the appraiser verifies the model, serial number, age, condition, and other critical information of each item. Photos are taken of each item and included in the final comprehensive appraisal report. The On-Site Appraisal allows the appraiser to determine the overall wellness and functionality of the equipment and the personnel of the subject business, industry, or agricultural enterprise. During this process, a complete and thorough hands-on equipment inventory can be conducted if requested. This thorough and time-tested practice ensures the most accurate valuation of all appraised items. Requestors may receive Current/Fair Market, Orderly Liquidation, or Auction Values of all equipment. In many cases, we provide all three values to support a wide range of appraisal needs. A comprehensive On-Site Appraisal report includes a thorough equipment inventory, age/serial number verification (if appropriate), line item photographs, and thoroughly researched valuation for each item.

We know that you are busy with more important things than trying to determine the value of collateral items. Within five (5) business days, you will have a professional appraisal that will meet your needs and will definitively answer your customers’ valuation questions.
A Desktop Appraisal is an appraisal on an item or items that the appraisers have not personally inspected. It is important to note that the research and eventual value determination will be largely derived from the information provided in the request. As such, accuracy of the information provided is imperative to accurate and timely valuation. Our expert appraisers combine the provided information with decades of experience and a deluge of industry resources to determine the value of each item. Requestor will indicate the value approach desired for the appraisal (Current/Fair Market, Orderly Liquidation or Auction Value). For an additional fee, requestors may receive additional appraisal valuation methodologies. In many cases, we provide all three values to support a wide range of appraisal needs. The Desktop Appraisal consists of a concise document that includes research methodology, supporting references, and valuation as previously indicated. This convenient Appraisal Report will be returned as a pdf file with electronic signatures via e-mail to the address provided.
